It has constantly brought me satisfaction to be in the driver’s seat in the context of leadership, but little did I know that it comes with a price to pay. Even though it requires sacrifice and selflessness, leadership opens many doors, and with such vast opportunities, it is no wonder people are always eager “to throw hats in the ring.” My teachers have always been a great inspiration, and the early opportunities since primary five fueled my decision to vie for the role of speaker.
